Refunds, Returns & Delivery

Last updated: 27 August 2026

We want shopping with Resurgent Health to be straightforward and transparent. This policy explains how delivery, returns, refunds, damaged or defective goods and warranties are handled when you purchase from our online store.

This policy operates alongside your rights under applicable South African consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and, where applicable, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

Section 1 — Delivery Rates

  • Free delivery on orders over R799.
  • Orders below R799 are charged a R120 delivery fee.
  • Orders are delivered by courier.
  • We do not charge separate handling fees.

Section 2 — Processing & Delivery Times

Orders are prepared once payment has been confirmed and are collected by our courier according to the courier’s collection schedule.

Estimated delivery times are:

  • 1–5 business days for major cities and metropolitan areas.
  • Up to 7 business days for regional, rural or outlying areas.

Orders are processed on business days only.

Delivery timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees. Delivery may occasionally take longer due to courier delays, public holidays, weather conditions, remote delivery locations or other circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Section 3 — Couriers & Tracking

We work with established courier providers to deliver orders throughout South Africa.

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available. You can use your tracking details to follow the progress of your delivery.

You can also visit our Track Your Parcel page for delivery updates.

Section 4 — Delivery Areas

We currently deliver nationwide throughout South Africa.

International delivery may be available by prior arrangement. Please contact Resurgent Health before placing an international order so that availability, courier costs and delivery arrangements can be confirmed.

Section 5 — Failed Deliveries & Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct when placing your order.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • the address supplied is incorrect or incomplete;
  • nobody is available to receive the parcel; or
  • the courier cannot gain access to the delivery location,

the courier may attempt a redelivery.

If delivery remains unsuccessful, the parcel may be returned to Resurgent Health.

Additional courier charges associated with redelivery or sending the parcel again may be payable by the customer where the failed delivery resulted from incorrect information supplied by the customer or circumstances reasonably within the customer’s control.

Returns & Refunds

Section 6 — Standard Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you would like to request a standard return, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

For a standard return, the product should ordinarily be:

  • unused, unworn and undamaged;
  • in its original condition;
  • in its original packaging;
  • supplied with any original tags, seals, accessories or documentation; and
  • accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or receipt.

Our 30-day standard return policy is an additional store policy and does not limit any statutory rights you may have in relation to defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods.

Section 7 — Products That Cannot Normally Be Returned

Non-Returnable Products

For health, hygiene and safety reasons, certain products cannot ordinarily be returned once they have been opened, used or unsealed, unless they are defective, incorrectly supplied or a right of return applies under applicable law.

This may include:

  • opened supplements or nutritional products;
  • food and other perishable products;
  • opened personal-care, skincare or hygiene products;
  • products with broken hygiene or tamper-evident seals;
  • personalised or specially ordered products;
  • digital products or gift cards, where applicable; and
  • clearance or final-sale products where a return is not required by applicable law.

Your statutory rights are not affected where goods are defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or materially different from their description.

Section 8 — Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If you receive a product that is:

  • damaged;
  • defective;
  • unsafe;
  • materially different from what you ordered; or
  • the incorrect product,

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and details of the problem.

Where goods qualify for return under applicable South African consumer law, Resurgent Health will handle the return in accordance with those rights.

For qualifying failed, unsafe or defective goods returned within six months of delivery, the Consumer Protection Act provides that the consumer may direct the supplier to repair or replace the goods, or refund the purchase price, with the return being at the supplier’s risk and expense.

Section 9 — Manufacturer & Product Warranties

Certain products sold by Resurgent Health may include a manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty.

Where an additional manufacturer’s warranty applies, the duration, exclusions and claims procedure may differ depending on the product.

We may assist you with the appropriate warranty process or direct you to the authorised manufacturer or service provider where appropriate.

Manufacturer or supplier warranties are in addition to, and do not replace, any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law.

Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, failure to follow product instructions or normal wear and tear may fall outside an applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty, subject always to your statutory rights.

Section 10 — Return Delivery Costs

If a product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise qualifies for return at our expense under applicable law, Resurgent Health will arrange or cover the reasonable return delivery cost.

If you are returning an otherwise acceptable product because you changed your mind, selected the incorrect product or no longer want it, return delivery costs may be your responsibility.

Where a statutory cooling-off right applies, applicable legislation may permit the consumer to be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Section 11 — How to Request a Return

  1. Contact the Resurgent Health support team at info@resurgent-health.com before returning an item.
  2. Provide your order number, the product concerned and the reason for the return.
  3. If necessary, we may ask for photographs or other information to help us assess the request.
  4. We will provide the applicable return instructions and, where appropriate, arrange collection or provide return delivery details.
  5. Please do not send products back without first contacting us, as this may delay the processing of your return.

Section 12 — Exchanges

We do not always process direct exchanges.

Where appropriate, the simplest process may be to return an eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the preferred product.

In some circumstances, an exchange may be arranged directly with our support team.

Section 13 — Refunds

Refund Processing

Once a returned product has been received and, where appropriate, inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method.

We aim to process approved refunds within 10 business days, although your bank, card provider or payment service may require additional time before the funds appear in your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed after we have confirmed that your refund was processed, please contact our support team.

Section 14 — Your Consumer Protection Act Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights that you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.

The Consumer Protection Act includes an implied warranty of quality.

Where qualifying goods fail to meet the required standards within six months after delivery, the consumer may return them without penalty and at the supplier’s risk and expense and may direct the supplier to repair or replace the goods, or refund the price paid.

Where goods have been repaired and, within three months after the repair, the original failure, defect or unsafe feature has not been remedied, or another failure, defect or unsafe feature is discovered, the supplier must replace the goods or refund the purchase price, subject to the applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.

Section 15 — Online Cooling-Off Rights

Certain electronic transactions may qualify for a cooling-off period under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).

Where the statutory cooling-off right applies, a consumer may cancel an eligible transaction for goods within seven days after receiving the goods, without reason or penalty. The consumer may, however, be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Where payment has already been made and a valid statutory cooling-off right is exercised, the consumer is entitled to a full refund of the payment, which must be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation, as provided for by ECTA.

The statutory cooling-off right does not apply to every online transaction. ECTA contains exclusions for certain categories of goods and transactions, including certain foodstuffs and goods intended for everyday consumption supplied to the consumer’s home, certain personalised goods, goods that by their nature cannot reasonably be returned, and goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

Our separate 30-day standard return policy may provide additional return options even where a statutory cooling-off right does not apply, subject to the conditions and exclusions stated in this policy.
